2024 News Letter : A Year of Impact and New Beginnings
As we look back on the past year, we are filled with deep gratitude and encouragement for all that has been accomplished in the field of health, including mental health, particularly through our trauma healing workshops. These sessions have been a cornerstone in restoring hope and dignity among women affected by the deep wounds of the past.
Beyond healing, we have continued to walk alongside women on their journey towards socio-economic empowerment. Through the Self-Help Group approach, the Street Business School, and support for small businesses initiated by survivors of gender-based violence, we have witnessed incredible resilience and transformation.
One of the most exciting developments in 2025 is the launch of our new and ambitious project: the construction of the Women’s Socio-Economic Empowerment Center. This center will serve as a hub for learning, healing, and growth—further strengthening our vision of empowered women leading thriving communities.
The year 2024 also marked a significant milestone for FWA National, as we were honored with an award by Faith to Action Network for our commitment to promoting gender justice. This recognition encourages us to press on, knowing that our efforts are bearing fruit and inspiring others.
As we step into a new season, we remain committed to walking with women and communities towards a future marked by justice, health, and empowerment.
