February 2025 continued FWA's momentum with consistent delivery of healthcare services, ongoing construction of the Women's Socio-Economic Empowerment Center, and expanded support for gender-based violence survivors across multiple provinces.

I. ACTIVITIES OVERVIEW

February 2025 saw continued progress across all FWA program areas, with particular focus on healthcare service delivery, economic empowerment initiatives, and support for vulnerable populations.

II. CARING FOR HIV POSITIVE PEOPLE (CHIVPP)

Medical Follow-up and Home Visits

Throughout February, FWA continued regular medical follow-up and home visits for HIV positive individuals, ensuring consistent care and support for this vulnerable population.

Maternity Ward Update

The Ntaseka Clinic maternity ward remains operational for both delivery and hospitalization services. While some medical equipment is still needed, the ward continues to provide essential maternal healthcare services.

III. IMPROVING WOMEN'S REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH (IWRH)

Family Planning Education

FWA staff and community health workers have continued comprehensive education programs on family planning, targeting both men and women to emphasize the importance of reproductive health and family planning methods.

IV. RAPE SURVIVORS' SUPPORT (RSS)

2. Women's Socio-Economic Empowerment Center (WSEEC)

Construction continues on the Women's Socio-Economic Empowerment Center, a $200,000 project that will provide training rooms and temporary safe shelter for gender-based violence survivors at FWA headquarters.

3. Action on Gender-Based Violence (AGBV)

In February, FWA continued implementing the project "Connecting the Global to the Local: Strengthening Women's Leadership for the Localization of the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 (2000) on 'Women, Peace and Security'".

Through partnership with the American Friends Service Committee and support from the United Nations Peace Building Fund, small projects initiated by gender-based violence survivors were supported across six provinces:
